- Fire&Steel is written for experience referees/game masters.
- Fire&Steel was created to make it easy to learn and play, like our other published games, using the minimalist game idea but with additional mechanics to allow long-term campaign play.
- Fire&Steel borrows mechanics from other game publications but reworked to fit the setting and the designer's roleplaying gaming preference.
- Fire&Steel features a unique take on damage which stems from the idea that damage inflicted should always have a chance to do the minimum value of 1 no matter the strength of the attack, unless it is something that can just kill you outright.
- Fire&Steel includes a sandbox campaign setting with unobtrusive key ideas. This gives referees the freedom to easily change or plug in any of their favorite adventures, ideas, or sourcebook content.
- Fire&Steel player character options include 12 character classes and the 4 dominant cultural races. The mechanics for level advancement prevents two of the same character class to be identical as they advance to the maximum 10th level.
- Fire&Steel will be available as a PDF download or in print as a 36 page, saddle stitch, digest size book with full color cover and black and white interior.
- Fire&Steel is slated for a December 2021 release date.
